There may be no more perfect marriage than sweet, tender apples and freshly ground cinnamon. Grandma turned this marriage into a happy family by adding sweet creamery butter and locally sourced honey and wrapping it all in the love of her delicate, handmade pastry dough. Grandma knows best when it comes to family, so we follow her recipe to this day.

Very very good! Only negative comment I have is it could have more apples, but that is just me! Will definitely reorder this and the walnut povatica ! Looking to order the coffee cakes next to try. I know I won’t be disappointed

Some for Me!
Gave a 4-pak mini as a gift and this one is for me! I've got some very nice caramels that I am going to melt into some heavy cream to create a caramel sauce (maybe add a dash or two of butter-never said it was going to be no fat or low fat!). Then I'll warm a slice up on my cast-iron griddle. Serve it up on a saucer....load the slice with a dollop of premium vanilla ice cream followed by drizzling caramel sauce over the whole thing! Should either be on a sugar rush for 2-3 days or succumb to a carbohydrate coma for 10-12 hours. One thing is sure....I'll have a very happy tummy! It's the holidays! Enjoy! Pick up the healthy routine again on 2 January 2024 as part of your New Year's resolution!
