The secret recipe for English walnut povitica was Grandma’s first gift to us, and the original remains our bestseller to this day. We crush farm-fresh English walnuts and fold in sweet creamery butter, honey and real sugar. Then we roll it by hand in just enough of our delicate pastry dough to bring the filling together into buttery, flaky goodness, just as we’ve done for three generations.

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

Finding a Lost Treasure

I Grew up in a small community of 53 nationalities. . .Lots of Polish, Croatian, Italian, Slavic, etc. Every Christmas we would get lots of homemade Potecia , wine, Kolachies, etc, I LOVE Potecia, and until I ordered from Strawberry Hill, could not find anything close to what I grew up with. Many of those ladies who made them are gone now, so finding your company & heritage is a real treasure. Thank you for carrying on with this wonderful tradition.

I just keep ordering my favorite English Walnut and enjoying every bite, even cold during this hot weather. I also order the English Walnut and other flavors and have you send them to my son and his roommates. It's a treat for breakfast and evening dessert snack in their house. We all love your Strawberry Hill Povitica. I grew up on nut rolls for holidays, but I will admit your nut bread loafs are the best. Absolutely delicious!! A big thank you to all your bakers!!
