FOR WEALTH AND PROSPERITY
The Old World heritage of this povitica dates as far back as our original English walnut, for the popular poppy seed is a symbol of prosperity in Eastern Europe. We crush the poppy seeds and fold them into layers of sweet citrus, local honey and a touch of sugar. Then we envelop this filling in our handmade dough to create a traditional pastry that has been enjoyed for generations.
THE DETAILS
Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

This says "Easter"!!
As often as I tried could never make it like mom's. So....thanks to my sister-in-law, who told me how great it was, I simply go on line, have it sent to my daughter. It arrives just in time for Easter, she serves it, and I'm reliving Easter past!! Thanks so much!!

Poppy Seed Povitica is DELICIOUS
It's so good that we bought it for Easter dinner, and after tasting it, ate the whole thing ourselves and now have to break out the Walnut Povitica from the freezer to serve our guests!
