The secret recipe for English walnut povitica was Grandma’s first gift to us, and the original remains our bestseller to this day. We crush farm-fresh English walnuts and fold in sweet creamery butter, honey and real sugar. Then we roll it by hand in just enough of our delicate pastry dough to bring the filling together into buttery, flaky goodness, just as we’ve done for three generations.

THE DETAILS

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

This loaf was the best we've had recently! Whether an improvement in the bake or the well-wrapped shipping box, it has been the most moist loaf so far. This was a birthday gift for my husband. He's savoring every bite. Thank you Strawberry Hill.

using USPS instead of ups got it here quicker, no sitting in a warehouse over the week-end. Also was here before noon, no riding around in a hot truck all day.
