The secret recipe for English walnut povitica was Grandma’s first gift to us, and the original remains our bestseller to this day. We crush farm-fresh English walnuts and fold in sweet creamery butter, honey and real sugar. Then we roll it by hand in just enough of our delicate pastry dough to bring the filling together into buttery, flaky goodness, just as we’ve done for three generations.

THE DETAILS

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

I would give this 10 stars if I could.Absolutely delicious. Everyone who tried it was impressed with the taste. Very moist and packed full of nuts. I will definitely be purchasing this again. Hats off to the bakers.

Always so delicious!! Besides enjoying here at home throughout the year- we enjoy freezing some loaves to thaw and enjoy during the Holidays!! Their coffeecakes freeze and thaw great too- for later enjoyment!

Have always loved this product. Have been ordering it for decades. Sadly, the cost has gotten out-of-hand...might possibly be the last year we order it. 2023 cost is $39.00. Simply not sustainable. End of an era.
