The secret recipe for English walnut povitica was Grandma’s first gift to us, and the original remains our bestseller to this day. We crush farm-fresh English walnuts and fold in sweet creamery butter, honey and real sugar. Then we roll it by hand in just enough of our delicate pastry dough to bring the filling together into buttery, flaky goodness, just as we’ve done for three generations.

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

What a treat - I had never even heard of these until I saw a Facebook ad for them, and I got three assorted minis for the holidays - I've tried the English WWalnut first and it's delicious, complex, not too sweet, great texture. What a treat, indeed!

I was introduced to this when I worked for the Unified Government. I would come to your bakery to get them while I still lived there. Since I moved I have ordered some, but no one else liked them. I decided this year that I would get one anyway. They are great, so I will order them as often as I can. Truly delicious.

This is my absolute favorite and is the first flavor I ever tried! Delicious flaky and fabulous! My second favorite is the cream cheese Povitica. Wonder bakery and Staff! A must for the holidays
