I think it needs something to keep it together. Even cutting it as recommend the pastry fall apart. have to use a spatula to move it to serving dish. Just seems to moist to not fall apart.

Raisin Walnut Povitica is the closes thing to the one my mom would make for Christmas and Easter. Always so so good.

I just want you to know that the package it came in was not sealed with plastic as usual and it rained that day. The outer wrap and the box it came in were strong enough that the product did not get wet.

Dense
My mom and I used to make nut rolls every Chanukah. This povtica reminds me of our baking days. Our nut roll had similar ingredients but tasted different. I bought this in memory of my mom. Was very good.

I bought 4 of these, all different flavors, through GoldBelly... The Blueberry, the Strawberry, the chocolate and this raisin walnut variety. These Provticas are F A B U L O U S ! I have never seen anything like it up here in New Jersey... so glad I saw you in GoldBelly! I definitely will be buying again come closer to the Holidays!
