We crush the poppy seeds and fold them into layers of sweet citrus, local honey and a touch of sugar. Then we envelop this filling in our handmade dough to create a traditional pastry that has been enjoyed for generations.

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

This item is very similar to a favorite German Mennonite baked item. It's German name is " mach kuchen" translate to poppy seed roll. It is fixed in a single, but like povitica it is delicious.
