The secret recipe for English walnut povitica was Grandma’s first gift to us, and the original remains our bestseller to this day. We crush farm-fresh English walnuts and fold in sweet creamery butter, honey and real sugar. Then we roll it by hand in just enough of our delicate pastry dough to bring the filling together into buttery, flaky goodness, just as we’ve done for three generations.

Have had home made and local store made Povitica for over 45 years. This povitica is by far the best I have ever had. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a rating of "12". Only request is that you do not alter how you make your Povitica. Thank you....a very happy customer. END

The first time I tasted this povitica it reminded me of my grandmother's baking. Since then I buy it all the time for my family, friends, and neighbors. They all love it.

Love this! As a child our family had a c@bin about 15 miles out of a mining town - Butte MT. The area had a number of Eastern European families and one family lived on way to our cabin. The wife and her sister used to make povitica on the kitchen table and it was delicious!!

We love this so much that we have been ordering it during the pandemic as a treat to help keep our spirits up. It is also our go-to holiday gift for friends and family who don’t live near us. We have actually had requests from family to send it to them again when the holidays roll around!
