The secret recipe for English walnut povitica was Grandma’s first gift to us, and the original remains our bestseller to this day. We crush farm-fresh English walnuts and fold in sweet creamery butter, honey and real sugar. Then we roll it by hand in just enough of our delicate pastry dough to bring the filling together into buttery, flaky goodness, just as we’ve done for three generations.

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

That's what we called it...potica, my Grandmother made this and it was so loved. I have quite a story on making this with her, but I can say this it's a ton of work! This is as close to hers as it gets. So good!! 10 stars

Years ago I had a Slavic friend who made Povitica every holiday and I fell in love with them. I used to ask for it for Christmas and didn't share easily! These come as close to hers as I've had, love love love them.

The best, freshest stuff around! So much like my mom & aunts used to make. Povitica is just different than any other kind of dessert, breakfast, snack etc... English Walnut is my favorite. Consistent quality of product every time I've ordered!

I watched my mother , make povitica many times, even tried to help. This is as close to her old fashion recipe as I can find, and a lot less work than trying to make it myself. It is delicious.
