It would be tough to improve on our best-selling English walnut povitica, but this one gives it a run for the money. We complement freshly crushed walnuts with tart cranberries, sweeten the filling with locally sourced honey, and hand roll it in our flaky pastry dough.

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

Very tasty treat
This was a good treat for an early Christmas morning breakfast. It is definitely MUCH better warmed iup--a bit dry otherwise. I tried to slice it with a serrated knife and the sides broke apart and made quite a mess. In the future, I will slice it by cutting STRAIGHT DOWN with a SHARP chef's knife. Were the walnuts inside pre-toasted? They created a texture but I didn't get much walnut flavor and would have wanted a bit more nut flavor. We enjoyed this and found it needed no butter or cream cheese on top. Best eaten with a fork!!

Flavorful Boost to English Walnut
I love my English Walnut, but Cranberry Walnut is equally good with the added flavor boost of the cranberries. Makes sense for me to switch up for sharing at Thanksgiving and Christmas. A winner.

great stuff reminds me of this on South Side of Chicago back in 50's and 60's. Try to keep moist insdie and 'more paperlike crust. That's the best.

Cranberry povitica
My mom always made the walnut one and the cranberry is an added holiday touch. Glad I found Strawberry Hill so I can enjoy these year around instead of just at Xmas!
