Grandma turned this marriage into a happy family by adding sweet creamery butter and locally sourced honey and wrapping it all in the love of her delicate, handmade pastry dough. Grandma knows best when it comes to family, so we follow her recipe to this day.

Apple Cinnamon Povitica
I had never had Povitica before so I didn’t know what to expect. I warmed some up in the microwave with a bit of Irish butter to moisten it and it was very good. However, when slicing a piece of the loaf the outer layer would break off and the slice wouldn’t be presentable to serve to someone. I also found this particular loaf to be a little on the dry side. Otherwise, I’m glad I tried it. It was good.

Apple Cinnamon is my Fave
Have been purchasing from Strawberry Hill for several years. Always once in the summer and then around the holidays. Always something we look forward to. We buy several flavors but Apple Cinnamon is my favorite. It's a great breakfast bread - very heart, cinnamon-ey and apple-y. ** This past order, every bread we received had a strange chemical flavor to it. Needless to say, I wasn't very happy with the amount of money I spent that was wasted (they were going in the garbage). I contacted Customer Support. I hate to be *that* person but I explained the situation and asked that they somehow remedy it. Angela J was quick to reply and, after a few questions, sent me out a whole new batch of breads. I greatly appreciated the understanding and desire to please the customer. The new batch was REALLY good.

I prefer the original nut. The others I have sampled lack that classic taste. Side comment. Your ordering platform stinks. It took three try’s and 4 emails to get the algorithm to accept my order and recognize the discount code. That in itself is a reflection of the disappointment in my overall experience.
