The walnut povitica is always delicious. It tastes like homemade. And I wait for the chocolate chip cream cheese povitica to be available, and then stock up on it because it’s my husband’s favorite. The customer service team at Strawberry Hill is wonderful. It’s always a pleasure talking with them.

I get this mostly once a year during Christmas. It's a special baked good that's great for sharing with others! I had a small glitch this year. As one of my 3 loaves, I ordered Apple Cranberry Crunch but got Apple Cinnamon as one of my 3-mini loaves. However, I had been looking at the Apple Cinnamon pictures before I ordered so I just chalked it up to the workings of a higher power and didn't make a big fuss of the change in order. The picture I saw displayed a piece of Apple Cinnamon with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on it. Tomorrow I go to the store for the best vanilla ice cream they have to complete my eating adventure! What about the Apple Cranberry Crunch!? Well, I'm making a trip to the K.C. area next Spring to see family and I plan on a brief detour by Merriam, KS to see if I can get some fresh-baked Apple Cranberry Crunch along with some K.C. or K.C.K. BBQ to share both with family. Sweet and Savory delights all in the same trip; do I have a lucky family or what!? When you want something special, give the bakers at Strawberry Hill Bakery a try! I love the original Walnut Povitica and it was delicious as ever. However, I ordered the Cranberry Povitica and it tasted good, but tended to fall apart when loaf was sliced. I would stick with the original.
