Then how do we get so much luscious filling rolled into our delicate, paper-thin dough? That remains Grandma’s secret.

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

Strawberry cream cheese povatica
I have had these breads in the past but I was amazed at the new flavors and coffee cakes. My husband and I LOVE this strawberry cream cheese bread. I will definately be getting more and trying some of the other new flavors. Def will NOT disappoint the palet!!!

It’s good, but I don’t think this filling travels as well as the others. Maybe it’s just too far from the Povitica with which I grew up!

I usually only get this treat once a year at slavic fest, but with online orders and shipping magic, we have it for everyones special day! First time with strawberry variety, but not the last...delicious!

Perfect gifts
Honestly, I didn’t get to taste any of the flavors I sent as gifts but all of the flavors are great from past experience. I love that this is a local company and the recipients let me know that they enjoyed this special treat from KC. The loaves arrived earlier than I expected with all the shipping delays on other gifts and the only downside was that they were gobbled up so quickly that they were gone before Christmas morning.

Strawberry Cream Cheese
The Strawberry was very flavorful and was my favorite. This is the first time in several years that we've ordered a Povitica and I think the English Walnut has been the best. But the Strawberry is right up there. Especially heated in the microwave for about 20 seconds.

Povitica was tasty but seemed a bit dry. Helped warming it. Coffee cake was still our favorite.
