Raisin Walnut povitica
My mom used to make this as long as I can remember. Have had others, but this is as close to hers as I ever had. Love it! and love the other flavors. Apple Cinnamon is my 2nd favorite.

My Grandmother use to make her Povitica with raisins, it gave the bread a bit of sweet taste. But she ground her raisins with the nut mixture. But either way both really good. Makes me think of my Mom and Grandmother when I buy this bread.

This is as good as my mother's nut roll. She was Croatian and was the only person I ever knew who put raisins in the nut mixture. I always loved it and when I saw that Strawberry Hill made one, I immediately ordered it. So I've been very pleased with how good they are and have been buying them at least once or twice a year for Christmas and Easter. RAISIN WALNUT POVITICA
Too damn good. It disappeared in about three days. Has to be a law against something that delicious in the world. If I had it around every day I'd weigh 400 lbs.
