I had never tried povitica before because I thought it would be one of those airy, fall apart, no taste, too sugary cakes that I diislike. Boy was I WRONG!! I could not resist the sale on these mini loaves and I am so happy I did! It is substantial without being heavy and is full of flavor with just a touch of sweetness. It most definitely does NOT fall apart! In fact, this type of pastry is now my new favorite and will be on my holiday gift list for sure! Great job, bakers! Keep it up! :)
