English Walnut Povitica

Delicious! it's as good as my mother's was! She always made it for Christmas. She was Croation/Slovenian. I will order be ordering these again.

So delicious. It brings back holiday as a child ..memories of my mother's nut roll.

I always send at Christmas as a gift to former husband, who's mom would make this every year, in the Fall, for each of her seven children/spouses, at Christmas. He and his wife, and their family, look forward to it every year-delicious, and just as "Mom" used to make. 65+ years ago, she learned how to make it from an elderly lady in Kansas City, originally from Croatia.

I like a lot of the flavor varieties but English walnut is my Croatian dad’s favorite. Strawberry Hill makes it easy to choose a delivery date for the holidays - and it is always delivered on time. My dad was happy to get this povitica for Christmas!

Delicious! I try to buy one every year and also send one to my brothers for Christmas. Our Dad's family made nut rolls (and poppy) as well as kiffles with the walnut mixture as well as other fillings. They were the highlight of our holiday travels to Pennsylvania. Unfortunately all of my aunts are gone now so this is the next best thing and I am so happy you are still around making them! Thank you!

Great povitica!! Just like my grandmas

This is expensive but well worth it. Tastes like it was home made. I would never even attempt to try and make one. Thank you Strawberry Hill.
