The secret recipe for English walnut povitica was Grandma’s first gift to us, and the original remains our bestseller to this day. We crush farm-fresh English walnuts and fold in sweet creamery butter, honey and real sugar. Then we roll it by hand in just enough of our delicate pastry dough to bring the filling together into buttery, flaky goodness, just as we’ve done for three generations.

THE DETAILS

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

My Mom made the best potica but strawberry hill’s comes close. We have been ordering it for us and for gifts and have never been disappointed nor has anyone we gave it to.

We've tried several flavors, but this is the one our family keeps coming back to. It is the original and has stayed around all this time for a reason. It's delicious, and we enjoy it every time.

I received this Povitica as a gift and I must say that it is as delicious as my Mom’s homemade! They don’t cheapen out on their ingredients; it is loaded with delicious nuts and honey, and the pastry is buttery and perfect! I’ve already sent some to friends as gifts and look forward to trying the other flavors! I have tried the chocolate and it is wonderful as well- filled with chocolate ganache- yum!! Excellent work, Strawberry Hill bakers!

This is absolutely the best nut bread I have ever eaten. I am so happy my brother introduced me to it as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago, I have tried a couple of others but I still keep coming back to the English Walnut Povitica
