The secret recipe for English walnut povitica was Grandma’s first gift to us, and the original remains our bestseller to this day. We crush farm-fresh English walnuts and fold in sweet creamery butter, honey and real sugar. Then we roll it by hand in just enough of our delicate pastry dough to bring the filling together into buttery, flaky goodness, just as we’ve done for three generations.

Each hand-rolled povitica has a net weight of 2.5 pounds and is certified kosher. Shipped in our signature Strawberry Hill gift box, povitica should be refrigerated upon arrival or can be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

It's the best ever! My grandmother used to make this when I was growing up! Absolutely the best! Every gift we have given, people love it! I have tried the other flavors but go back to my all time favorite!

These products are the closest to the ones my mother made. Mother has been gone over 30 years. I have tried to replicate her nut roll and poppyseed roll and just couldn't. I LOVE your rolls.

Delicious! I've been buying this for years, but recently sent one to my brother. He mentioned that he ate it toasted with butter. What?! Can't believe I didn't try this. Even more delicious!!

My grandmother made walnut and poppy seed every holiday season; she never made enough. These pastries are such a pleasant reminder of family gatherings making coffee and tea with a nice slice of pastry on the side. The quality of these home-made pastries are exceptional because they are packed with what ever flavor you want. I have tried several different flavors and they are all wonderful.
