Turns out, this traditional dessert is even better when you bake a layer of cream cheese right into the cake, especially since we use delicious local cream cheese. We add Rum soaked golden raisins and top each cake with our signature English walnut crumble — no frosting necessary.

The best carrot cake I ever tried
My neighbor brought me for Easter this Carrot Cream Cheese Coffee Cake. And I felt in love with it! It was so good and I knew my mom would love it and I wanted her to try it too. She lives in CA so I went ahead and ordered one for my mom the very next day! She received it 5 days later and loved it! She worked at grocery store in Baking department for over 20 years and she knows carrot cakes but she said this one is super good!
