While this one may seem adventurous, it was inspired by a little diner just outside of Kansas City. Its playful use of apples and cheddar cheese dates all the way back to the 1950's Americana.
4 Thick slices of Cheddar Cheese (The Sharper the better)
2 Slices of Strawberry Hill Apple Cinnamon Povitica
Heat a lightly buttered griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
Layer Strawberry Hill Apple Cinnamon Povitica then the slices of cheddar cheese. Top with an additional slice of Povitica and grill until the cheese has melted and is dripping. Flip half way through. Notes: You may even choose to serve with a bowl of cabbage soup
